Jarod Hanson

Jarod Hanson is a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to original, actor-centered theatre. He has an MFA from Towson University, where he focused on pedagogy of devised work and served as Fellow for the Center of International Theatre Development. He is a longtime member of the award-winning MB ADAPTORS Company, and has toured internationally as an original cast member and co-deviser of several new works, including SLEEPWALKERS, THE HUMAN SHOW, CYCLOPEDIA, PULLING STRINGS and HEADSHOT!. His work seeks to reclaim theatre’s primal, ritualistic roots and inspire audiences through imagistic, visceral, ensemble-driven story. Jarod is passionate about empowering artists through actor training. He is a Certified Margolis Method teacher and has served as Lead Faculty at the Margolis Method Center Int’l in upstate New York. In addition, he has taught workshops and residencies throughout the country and at the Margolis Method Center Barcelona, Spain. Jarod has contributed to the development of Margolis Method Online, an innovative web-based platform for actor training.
